Research
Sara is a sophomore studying Chemical Engineering with a strong interest in Biotechnology and healthcare. Her research focuses on improving the sensitivity of point-of-care biosensors for detecting heart disease biomarkers using engineered binding proteins and nanoparticles. Outside of the lab, she enjoys staying active through distance running, swimming, and lifting at the gym. In her free time, she also loves to play the piano, a passion she devotes many hours to.
